The campground/picnic area can accommodate three tents–ours or yours. Feel free to also pitch a tent elsewhere on the property if the mood strikes you! We have a couple of queen-sized air mattresses for those wanting a little more comfort or room to sleeping.

The campground is surrounded by Cary Grant roses, which when in bloom, provides a wonderful scent. The grounds have electricity for those with special needs or wanting an electric blanket on a chilly autumn night.

The covered picnic area has table seating for at least ten, and another buffet table to keep your camping or hiking gear in the shade on a hot summer day. Use your own campstove or ours. There’s a grill for vegans and one for meat-lovers.

The sun sets behind the campground, over the Death Valley mountains, spewing color on the majestic Mt Charleston and the Spring Mountain range. For Izzy (shih tzu), Spaz (yorkie) and I, it’s a nightly event to watch the sunset shadow slowly creep up the mountainside. It only takes about 15-20 minutes. At different times of the year, the shadow collides with the rising moon.  Awesome!
